Our journey wasn’t always one of modest elegance. For years, we as ladies navigated the world with a different sense of style, unaware of the profound beauty that awaited us. Then, a gift of guidance illuminated our path at different ages, leading us to embrace the hijab.

Hijab shouldn’t be a forced decision, but a heartfelt one. Even as a child, one must be curious about the reasons behind covering hair, why it’s compulsory and not a choice to make, well, everyone is free, but everything instructed is for the greater good.
The seed of entrepreneurship had been planted within us as Muslim Females, and we deepened our understanding of our Code of Life by the inspiring personality of Hazrat Khadija, a remarkable merchant of her time, which sparked a desire to trade that reflected the values. Well, we found that it not only condones but also encourages ethical business practices. This realization, coupled with our shared inspiration and a brand named Zuri Studio, which celebrated both inner and outer beauty, came into place, and we are here to spread love and care as she did.
The name Zuri means “beauty” and “brightness.” Finding this name was a journey, a careful search for a word that showed what it was not just about the scarves to bring light, but to depict beauty in others.
